Interactive charts
The environmental and social data in Novo Nordisk's Annual Report are based on information from Novo Nordisk's 13 production sites and – for the social data – Novo Nordisk's affiliates worldwide. In the interactive charts, all data can be extracted for comparison or further analysis from each of the production sites or at corporate level.
An extensive set of data
The environmental data comprise inputs and outputs such as consumption of water, energy and raw materials, spent biomass, emissions and waste. Furthermore, more detailed information is provided on environmental impact potentials.
The social data include basic employee statistics and health & safety data. Data for assessing the wider responsibility on the social and economic bottom lines such as training costs and cash donations to local communities are also available.
Environmental and social data can be selected by year or by site; just select data group, data type, site and year, or view data in a full summary.
Since 1994 the validity of these data has been assured externally by independent assurance providers in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way of Management.
The consolidated corporate performance data are part of PricewaterhouseCoopers' assurance of the Annual Report 2006 with reference to the Assurance Report on Non-Financial Reporting 2006.
